The Senior Special Assistant at the Katsina State Ministry of Health, Hon. Jabiru Yusuf Yau Yau, has resigned from his position.
In a letter dated Thursday, 14 August 2025, and addressed to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Jabiru Yusuf stated that his resignation was voluntary.
He expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve in the administration, describing the appointment as a rare privilege he would never forget.
“With due respect, I appreciate your assistance to me and the effort to have me among your team, which is just a privilege, and I will never forget in my entire life as you honoured me during your gubernatorial administration,” the letter read.
The former aide also prayed for the continued success of Governor Radda, Katsina State, and Nigeria as a whole, while seeking the governor’s consideration of his resignation request.
